![]() ![]() Scrolling alphabet demo, displays characters one at a time into a scrolling box. I have attached the code I am using, the pinout, and my current results. Whats more, it is a high brightness, long life, no pollution, pure color LED display module. BUT Arduino doesn’t support this function, its speed is not enough to multiple panel. The Arduino IDE comes with an example LCD sketch which uses an Hitachi HD44780 compatible LCD. The led matrix has 2 IDC connectors (DATAIN, DATAOUT) on the back, you can cascade multiple panels and make a huge screen together. ![]() Until I ensure that the board is connected properly I cannot go any further.Īre there specific pins I need to be using or do I need to define the pinout locations in the code somehow? We are now going to add an LCD display to our Arduino. ![]() I am using a very simple code to stream text across one board and it is not working. These pins are labeled at the back of your display, as shown in the figure below. You just need to make four connections: GND, RX, TX, and +5V. Connecting the Nextion display to the Arduino is very straightforward. I don’t believe I have the correct pinout and need some assistance from anyone whos willing to help. Now, you are ready to start experimenting with the Nextion display with Arduino UNO. ![]()
